Dr. Andrew Manu is a renowned teacher at Iowa State University. He provides instruction in five courses in soil science and natural resources management.

Dr. Manu undertakes research in the areas of environmental pedology and remote sensing. His research foci are in the areas of remote sensing of the environment, digital mapping, urban modeling and the effect of urbanization on environmental quality. He provides service to departmental, college, University and professional committees. He also carries out outreach activities both within and outside the university.
